Evaluation of Slicing Scheme Based on Virtual 3D Printing

摘要

Aiming at the shortage that slicing schemes can only be post-hoc verified by the finished product at present, this paper proposed an evaluation method for slicing schemes of 3D vector models. According to two types of slice: closed contour point set and engineering drawing model, the method of 3D model reconstruction and path length calculation are proposed. Through 2D point-by-point connecting and 3D layer-by-layer stretching technology, the actual lamination production process is completely simulated, and the visual model with staircase effect corresponding to the slicing scheme is obtained. Combined with the calculation of process time-consuming, it provides the basis for the final determination of the slicing scheme. A large number of practical applications verify the stability of this method, which can effectively reduce the number of trial production and failure, and control the development cost.
