Children’s Toy Product Design Based on Augmented Reality Technology
摘要
The application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in the design of children's toys has introduced an innovative dimension to interactive modalities. This study is dedicated to examining the implementation strategies of AR within toy design, with the objective of enhancing user experience through improved information delivery capabilities of packaging. Analyzing existing AR-based children's toy cases, this research proposes a novel toy design scheme. Central to this scheme is the dissemination of educational content, facilitated by an AR application developed using the Unity engine and Vuforia SDK, enabling in-depth product interaction. The “Run Rabbit Run” toy concept demonstrates how AR technology can effectively augment information transmission and user interaction experiences. By scanning a QR code on the packaging, users can download the application and engage in a 360° comprehensive preview of 3D animal models, significantly enhancing the interactive experience. The study concludes that the application of AR technology in children's toy design can enrich the user experience and refine traditional toy design. Future research should further explore the potential applications of AR technology in this field, aiming to drive innovation in product packaging design that is more engaging and valuable.
