Recent Advances in Self-Healing Electronic Materials for Energy Harvesting Devices
摘要
The use of self-healing materials offers a possible means of enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and lifetime of energy harvesting devices. In this chapter, the principles of self-healing materials are covered, along with their techniques and how they relate to solar cells, thermoelectric generators, and piezoelectric energy harvesters. Exploration is done into the advantages of self-healing materials, such as their improved dependability, and self-healing capacities. To assess the capability for self-healing, a variety of methodologies may be applied, and assessments of durability and long-term performance are also taken into consideration. Self-healing materials are being used in energy harvesting electronic devices, and this has the potential to affect both sustainability and energy efficiency. Self-healing materials are emphasized with final views on the potential for energy harvesting in a number of industries, including building, aviation, electronics, and healthcare. Self-healing materials show a lot of potential for revolutionizing energy harvesting and enabling the production of energy that is more reliable, efficient, and long-lasting.
