摘要

Ecology, science, technology, and innovation all contribute significantly to the global agenda of sustainable development. Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) needs multiple methods that incorporate scientific research, technological developments, and innovative solutions in a world that is changing quickly and is rife with ecological, sociological, and environmental issues. It is feasible to effectively tackle environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and climate change by embracing evidence-based and holistic approaches. Technology now plays a critical role in observing, reducing, and responding to the effects of environmental change, providing answers to urgent sustainability issues. This chapter emphasises the addition of originality to projects aimed at sustainable development. As a catalyst for creativity, novelty encourages radical change and equips cultures to create groundbreaking responses to critical issues. Emerging technologies including biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy sources are investigated as powerful forces behind the achievement of the SDGs. In conclusion, this chapter emphasises how crucial science, technology, and innovation are to achieving the SDGs. In order to address the interconnected problems affecting our environment, ecology, and human civilization, it calls for coordinated actions. This will help create a world that is robust and sustainable for both the present and future generations.
