MWCNT/TPU Nanocomposites-Based UV Photodetector
摘要
The prospective uses of UV photodetectors in satellite communication systems, fire detection, missile warning, pollution monitoring systems, and other fields have drawn more attention in recent years. Herein, MWCNTs reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) nanocomposites have been prepared via a simple solution mixing method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Raman spectroscopic study have been carried out to determine the morphology of MWCNTs and MWCNTs/TPU nanocomposite films and the structural properties MWCNTs. UV photodetection performance of 0.1–0.2 wt.% MWCNTs/TPU nanocomposite films has also been studied. The UV photodetector performance with low value of responsivity of 5.26 mA/W, and the high value of detectivity of 7.82 × 1010 Jones was observed for the device made from 0.2 wt.% loaded MWCNT/TPU nanocomposite film. These above results suggest the preparation of flexible UV photodetector devices.
