In the transition to a circular economy, the ceramic industry will play a key role. The lack of awareness regarding waste recycling's impact on the production of ceramic tiles is the fundamental barrier to their widespread use. Utilizing chlor-alkali waste in the formation of wall tiles can have a major positive environmental impact. A waste product created during the production of chlorine and caustic soda is chlor-alkali waste. This debris can be efficiently utilized in the creation of wall tiles, providing a sustainable alternative to disposal. Manufacturers can lessen their environmental impact and help with resource conservation by integrating chlor-alkali waste. This creative method not only reduces waste production but also ensures the effective use of raw materials, encouraging a more sustainable and profitable method of producing tiles. In this article, we discuss about the recycling of wastes for future use in wall tiles, preparation methods, characterizations, and performance measurements.
