摘要

This chapter delves into the intriguing realm of utilizing plant-based nanoparticles as a novel approach for combating fungal infections. Fungal diseases represent a significant global health challenge, and conventional antifungal treatments often come with limitations, including toxicity and resistance issues. In response to these challenges, the chapter explores the synthesis and application of nanoparticles derived from plant extracts. These plant-based nanoparticles exhibit exceptional potential as eco-friendly and biocompatible antifungal agents. The chapter provides an overview of the methods for synthesizing these nanoparticles and investigates their antifungal properties against a spectrum of fungal species. The findings highlight their significant antifungal efficacy and suggest diverse applications in fields such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. By harnessing the power of plant-based nanoparticles, this chapter underscores the prospect of sustainable and innovative solutions for tackling fungal infections while minimizing harm to human health and the environment.
