This part of the book comprises a series of independent entries. Here is an excerpt: “In a nutshell, all of science is but abduction, as the wheel of science is indeed a wheel that is turning, being spun also by all previous researchers and their studies, previous theories and ideologies, and previous methodologies used and their findings reported (cf Pierce, 1878a, 1878b, 1893; William, 1970, 1981; Dewey, 1910, 1922). This is true, except for the (hypothetical) occasional alien scientist, on a short inter-stellar stopover, who is, and has been always, isolated completely from earth, its researchers, their findings, their common logic that they use, as well as their language and culture (habits and traditions). But then again, this travelling scientist will be subject to alien concepts, alien logic, alien common sense, all of which are also tainted (again) by their past, their language, their logic and traditions. So that alien scientist must have been a baby at the time of the departure from his/her/its home planet, and not instructed or taught by others (nothing, not their language, not their culture or logic) on the way to earth. With this thought experiment, hence, one has to come to the conclusion that no one is ever conducting science without being subject to the method of abduction, everyone is doing it, and will be doing it, and that in all of the universe (and in others, if there were others)!”
