The AgriTech Revolution: Linking Industry 4.0 with IoT, Big Data, AR, VR, and Blockchain in Agriculture

Industry 4.0, sometimes known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is distinct from the previous three. The five technologies that are driving the change in Industry 4.0 are big data and machine learning (ML), blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), and the Internet of things (IoT). By identifying patterns in datasets and drawing conclusions about the likelihood of particular outcomes, big data, and machine learning can be used to anticipate the behavior of customers in the future. The study says that blockchain will fundamentally change business in every sector, including the financial, legal, health care, and e-commerce sectors. AI has already started to affect Industry 4.0 and will bring more drastic changes to businesses with customers. The move to Industry 4.0 will need the use of AR and VR to get benefits in businesses. Everything from home automation devices, medical wearables, agricultural sector, to parcel tracking gadgets, etc., can incorporate the use of IoT. To get more benefits and profits in the upcoming Industry 4.0, our paper proposes the interlinking of all the technology’s proper implementation so that industries observe an improvement in efficiency during the manufacturing of products.
