摘要

The influence of air quality on both the atmosphere and human health in modern life is enormous. An IoT-based outdoor air quality monitoring system has been developed for cement industries to measure the concentration of environmental parameters such as PM2.5, PM10, PM1, CO, SO2, NO2, O3, temperature, and relative humidity to transmit the data to a Web server via GSM and Wi-Fi communication. The device is also capable of calculating the live Air Quality Index. The Web server collects each and every data in the cloud to provide resources for further analysis. The live concentration of environmental pollutants is visible to a Web-based application where the data can be visualized in numerical format and graphical format. The user can download the non-tempered historical data and select the sampling time based on their requirement. The gas sensors have been calibrated using an advanced gas calibration chamber as per the necessary concentration. An AI-based decision support system has been developed to predict the future concentration of the pollutants and Air Quality Index under various atmospheric conditions to create an alert to the respective cement industry. A robust mechanical enclosure has also been designed and fabricated using Nylon material to protect the device under multiple climatic conditions. The enclosure is equipped with self-cleaning technology which definitely increases the life of the sensors. The impartial system can be driven through a rechargeable battery apart from the main source of power for continuous operation. This research paper tells the findings of an experimental study focused in the cement industry to discover the process and its influence on the atmosphere.
