摘要

The simplicity of using a graphite electrode modified with titanium oxide nanoparticles (TiO2 nps) for detection of total theaflavin (TF) content in different black tea samples has been delved into in this research work. Known for rendering tea with its astringent flavour, along with its anti-allergic, anti-cholesterol, and neuroprotective effects, there is a demand for a real-time determination of TF. Voltammetric techniques have been deployed to investigate the electrochemical behaviour of the working electrode. The electrode shows a linear working range of around 20 to 500 µM, with a limit of detection (LOD) of 20.27 µM. The efficiency of the electrode to segregate the varying samples of black tea has been studied using Principal Component Analysis (PCA).
