Current Situation of Eldercare Labor System in China

Eldercare is the top priority for the population aging worldwide. In order to coping population aging actively, the World Health Organization (WHO) has emphasized the construction of integrated long-term care (LTC) systems for countries in the 21th century. LTC encompasses rehabilitative, preventative, assistive, palliative and social care, particularly emphasizing health management for geriatric individuals and those with chronic conditions, especially essential care, including life care and basic nursing care to older adults.
