A Fundamental Study of Natural Language Processing Approaches

Natural language processing (NLP) has evolved significantly over the years, witnessing the emergence of various approaches and techniques. This paper conducts a comprehensive comparative study of different NLP methods, focusing on their applications, strengths, limitations, and the challenges they address. The comparative analysis encompasses rule-based systems, statistical approaches, and modern machine learning techniques, providing valuable insights into their respective contributions to the field. The current information technology paradigm makes use of natural language, or the language humans speak daily, for human–computer interaction. Nowadays, natural language processing (NLP) means analyze human language. Different types of applications are used in different ways like in industries, medical profession, and many computerized tasks.
