This Chapter cautiously propose the holistic spatial planning of national space. Following the book’s thorough exploration from theory to application, from objective laws to design methodologies, we shifted our focus to urban space development, gradually forming a fresh perspective on urban space development. We have gained a comprehensive understanding of how to comprehend the laws governing urban space development, how to intervene and guide urban planning, and how to address the interplay between laws and planning, planning and management, among others. Building upon this foundation, this chapter outlines the basic principles, key components, and core mechanisms of holistic spatial planning tailored to specific context of PRC, offering insights and recommendations for the development of a unified planning system.
