Imaging of Insufficiency Fractures After Radiotherapy

The patient, a 73-year-old woman, was diagnosed with stage IIIB cervical cancer, for which she received concurrent chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Two years post-treatment, she came to our hospital complaining of severe back pain and difficulty walking. Despite her symptoms, no abnormalities were detected on the plain radiograph or CT scans. What steps should we take in evaluating these images and treating the patient?
