The patient is a 55-year-old female. A mass was found in the right adnexa on a CT scan performed during a check-up for intrauterine infection. Besides an ovarian tumor, actinomycosis infection was also considered due to the presence of an intrauterine device (IUD) that had been in place for 20 years.
