The field of nano-based agriculture is now gaining popularity. Carbon-based nanoparticles are among the most promising types of nanomaterials for sustainable agriculture. Prior research on the application of carbon-based nanomaterials in agriculture either concentrated on a single kind of carbon-based nanomaterial or required sophisticated methods for further investigations in this field. This chapter provides an overview of the many carbon-based nanomaterial types and how they are used to manage bacterial and fungal agricultural pests. Possible gaps in knowledge are explored. In general, this chapter advances knowledge about the function and possibilities of carbon-based nanomaterials in nanoagriculture.
