A Study of the Effect of Budgetary Family Financial Education on College Students’ Career Adaptability

With the intensification of social competition, the career development of college students is full of more challenges, and at the same time, there is a higher demand for college students’ career adaptability, and the family upbringing environment will directly affect college students’ ability level. This study aims to explore the effect of two types of budgetary family financial education (subtle education and active education) on college students’ career adaptability. Based on the questionnaire research method and data analysis of 4676 valid questionnaires, this study was found that both types of budgeting family financial education have significant effects on college students’ career adaptability, and the higher the frequency of parents’ active education with college students about their budget plans, the stronger the college students’ career adaptability, with self-efficacy playing a mediating role in this process. The article not only enriches the research on the impact of family financial education, but also provides new guidelines for improving college students’ career adaptability.
