Evolutionary Analysis of Symbiotic Strategy Between Chinese and Western Medicine from the Perspective of Competition
摘要
Independent development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) will strengthen competitive connotation of the relationship between Chinese and Western medicine, and symbiotic strategy of Chinese and Western medicine will be influenced. An evolutionary game model has been established and evolution trend of symbiotic strategy of Chinese and Western medicine has been simulated in different situations. There are three conclusions based on simulation results. One is that if considerable benefits of TCM can be generated when there is not targeted strategy of Western medicine, development oriented strategy has chance to become dominant strategy of TCM. Secondly, if it cannot bring significant benefits for TCM, development oriented strategy will only have strong growth potential when its initial adoption situation is very optimistic. Thirdly, if development oriented strategy has positive externality to Western medicine, its growth potential will be stronger than if it does not has positive externality. Some suggestions for development of TCM have been proposed.
