Queuing Systems with Moving Servers and Complicated Structures

The mathematical models, describing behavior of the systems with moving servers and finite volumes constructed and investigated. The prototypes of such systems are traffic, cargo, airport facilities, information and communication systems, computer networks and others. One of the main problems in that direction is calculation and optimization of various efficiency indices of such systems. In the capacity of the efficiency index is taken a customer average waiting time before service. For minimizing this efficiency index, a control function is introduced which means delay of beginning service. Such control is easily realized in practice and as is shown in the paper, gives a gain in a customer waiting time before service. The wide class of systems with moving servers for which it is advisable to introduce delay is derived. The optimal function minimizing a customer waiting time before service has been found. Complicated systems are investigated by simulation. Numerical examples demonstrating the theoretical results and results of simulation are given.
