Green Airport Development Paths and Trends Exploration Based on a Visual Knowledge Graph Analysis

In recent years, the clamor for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality has intensified, underscoring the imperative for airports to embrace green sustainable development. Leveraging bibliometric data analysis, this study delves into the trajectory of green airport. Through comprehensive integration and evaluation of pertinent scientific literature, key themes in research of green airport are discerned via clustering and timeline mapping, elucidating their developmental trajectories and trends. To foster the advancement of eco-friendly and sustainable airports, a holistic approach is advocated, encompassing technological innovation, adoption of clean energy sources, robust management systems, active policy engagement, and community support. We propose the establishment of an integrated system involving airport management, markets, governmental bodies, the public, and other pertinent stakeholders. The insights obtained from scientific data can also be extended to other related areas that need to reduce emissions.
