摘要

Most previous studies explored the factors affecting career success from the individual or organizational level, but with economic transformation and upgrading, Chinese enterprises urgently need to conduct in-depth studies based on the integration of individuals and organizations. In the context of economic transformation and upgrading, enterprises need to deeply study the integration relationship between individuals and organizations in order to adapt to the new environment and challenges. This is because with the intensification of market competition and the development of technology, enterprises have an increasing demand for high-quality employees and innovative capabilities. In this context, the matching relationship between individuals and organizations becomes crucial. Economic transformation may lead to changes in the integration relationship between individuals and organizations. Where previously individuals may have focused more on compensation and position, they are now more likely to focus on the culture, values, and support for personal development of the organization. This change has a direct impact on the organization, including increased employee satisfaction, job performance and employee loyalty, as well as helping to promote innovation and teamwork. At the same time, with the advent of borderless careers and the changeable career era, focus is shifting towards the realization of self-value. In this paper, person-organization fit is taken as the antecedent variable and career adaptability as the mediating variable, and the measurement index based on “value realization degree” is used to explore whether the matching degree between individuals and organizations has an impact on career adaptability and career success of individuals. This paper adopts the questionnaire survey method to carry out the empirical study. Analysis of data from 404 questionnaires shows that personal-organizational matching has a significant positive impact on career success.
