Research Design

As discussed in Chapter 3 , there are three types of projections, i.e., ideational projection, interpersonal projection and textual projection, and the grammatical status of the projecting clause forms a cline from serving as the primary clause expressing the main proposition in the clause complex, as a modal adjunct in the mood of the propositional clause and as a conjunctive adjunct out of the propositional clause.
