Music 3.0—A Secure Web 3.0-Based Music Streaming and Marketplace Service for Combatting Copyright Infringement
摘要
Music streaming has completely revolutionized the way we listen to and consume music in today’s digital age. It is a technology that allows music enthusiasts to listen to a catalog of songs and albums which they prefer and can do so with the utmost ease. As of the latest reports, around 460 million music streams take place daily, and the number is only going to keep increasing. The convenience and on-demand access that music streaming provides is second to none. However, the music industry is filled with a plethora of copyright and ownership issues, mainly due to the fact that most of the music streaming apps and services are built upon Web 2.0 standards. To eliminate these problems, we have developed Music 3.0, a Web 3.0-based music streaming and marketplace service built upon the innovations and significant advances that Web 3.0 brings with the technologies of blockchains, NFTs, and smart contracts. The project is unique in the way by which it primarily focuses on increasing the fan and community engagement by allowing NFTs to be resold and putting heavy emphasis on designing a well-developed user interface.
