Case Study: Sambhar Lake, India
摘要
This section takes us to the arid landscapes of India, where we examine the “Sambhar Lake” case study. Sambhar Lake is India’s largest inland saline wetland and holds immense cultural and ecological value. By studying this case, we gain insights into the complex interplay of factors affecting the lake, from changing land use to the conservation measures in place. It serves as a real-world example of the critical balance required to protect and sustain such fragile ecosystems.
