Interpretation and Application of Total-Body PET/CT Dynamic Acquisition Information

The total-body positron emission tomography–computed tomography (TB PET/CT) technique is capable of completing total-body dynamic imaging because of its ultra-long axial field of view, high sensitivity, and high temporal resolution. Real-time dynamic image analysis based on total-body imaging not only enables visualization of pharmacokinetics, but also allows for parametric imaging, and the evaluation of blood supply, distribution processes, and states of target tissues or organs using time-activity curves (TACs) of target tissues or organs. Valuable biological information can be obtained through these methods.
