摘要

The capabilities of total-body positron emission tomography–computed tomography (TB PET/CT) surpass those of conventional short-axis PET/CT, offering a variety of imaging options, such as half-dose or ultra-low (1/10) dose scanning, rapid scanning, and ultra-long time-delay static imaging, as well as TB real-time dynamic scanning. To maximize the performance of the equipment and better meet clinical needs, as well as accommodate the requirements of clinical research, it is essential to have a scientifically and reasonably arranged workflow. If the patient’s examination is arranged in real time on site, with a comprehensive evaluation of the patient beforehand, then the workflow can be more easily realized. However, if some patients are selected in real time from those who arrive for examination on the same day for TB PET/CT examination, then workflow optimization becomes challenging. Nevertheless, regardless of whether it is an appointment system or a temporary arrangement, ensuring a smooth and high-quality process, as well as close cooperation between each part of the process, is important to promote efficient operation.
