Embarking on a journey through the confluence of sustainability and material science, this chapter unveils the innovative extraction and formulation of biopolymers from marine green algae, a promising and abundant feedstock for bioplastic production. Addressing the limitations of other biomass sources, marine green algae emerge as a biocompatible alternative to conventional plastics, offering solutions to mitigate plastic pollution.
