Prospects for the Discovery of Actionable Molecular Targets for Triple Negative Breast Cancer
摘要
Triple negative breast cancer is a heterogeneous group of breast cancers that are not responsive to hormone-targeted treatment with a poor prognosis. Although molecular biomarkers for further stratification of TNBC have not been used in the clinical setting so far, several potential biomarkers have been reported through research that can predict recurrence, overall survival, disease-free survival, and distant metastasis-free survival among TNBC patients. In this chapter, we will discuss the current state of discoveries in TNBC using proteomic analysis.
