This paper introduces the “Novel QR Code-Based Hybrid Knowledge Graph Note (QrKno) System,” a transformative approach to higher education that seamlessly integrates analog and digital methods, leveraging the Knowledge Network Tag Model and Learning Management System (LMS) within the realm of Eduinformatics. QrKno revolutionizes student engagement and active learning by enabling students to effortlessly transition from traditional note-taking to creating structured digital knowledge graphs. In this system, students bring pre-printed sheets with their student ID and name to each class. These sheets contain QR codes that enable the seamless transition from analog note-taking to digital knowledge graph creation. Students capture the content of the lecture in a structured digital format, fostering deeper comprehension and reflection. The QrKno system addresses challenges in higher education, including timely feedback and bridging the gap between secondary and tertiary education. It offers benefits for both students and educators, allowing instructors to allocate more time for meaningful teaching.
