Late-life challenges, particularly for seniors, present significant socioeconomic and health- related complexity. Alzheimer’s disease, the major cause of dementia in the elderly, causes progressive cognitive and memory decline. Although dementia becomes increasingly common with age, it is not a natural part of the process. Alzheimer’s disease has about 55 million global sufferers, with 60% of them living in low- and middle-income countries. It accounts for 60–70% of dementia cases and presents as symptoms such as forgetfulness, confusion, impaired regular activities, and visual abnormalities. This study investigates the design and implementation of intelligent software designed for mild Alzheimer’s patients, with features such as appointment scheduling and prescription reminders. Aimed at tackling hospital-related issues, the program proved efficient, assisting patients in managing appointments and drugs while being user-friendly for the elderly. The study emphasizes the critical role of technology in supporting mild Alzheimer’s patients, with implications for health-care professionals and governments, particularly in places with a high prevalence of the condition.
