CIC Combined with Urinary Diversion Effectively Improve the Bladder Control

CIC is a common method for paralytic bladder patients to empty their bladder. There are clear procedures and guidelines for CIC performed through the urethra. However, for special cases such as patients with urinary diversion [1], there is still a need to strengthen guidance and training for CIC to empty the bladder. CIC combined with urinary diversion can effectively solve the urinary bladder control problem for these patients [2–4]. Here, we introduce the training and procedure key points for CIC after urinary diversion surgery.
