Focus on the Treatment and Prevention of CIC Complications
摘要
CIC is an effective method to ensure bladder emptying, but there is a 2–8% complication rate during its application, especially obvious in patients who perform CIC for a long time. The most common complications are urinary tract infection (UTI), followed by complications related to the urethra, testicles, epididymis, and bladder. To ensure the smooth progress of CIC, it is very important to focus on the treatment and prevention of CIC complications [1].
