Invigorative Art
摘要
The article deals with the creation of evolutionary art by means of an evolutionary algorithm in which the initial population is constituted by appropriately encoded Bézier curves. For the evolutionary algorithm adapted in this way, the corresponding genetic operations of crossover and mutation and the fitness function is proposed. The paper introduces the important topic of aesthetic evaluation and a discussion related to methods of evaluating the generated works, with particular reference to the fractal dimension and the Benford’s law. The analysis concludes with the presentation of a decision tree considering the results of the aesthetic measures for analyzed, generated works.
