摘要

The efficient administration of water resources is necessary to guarantee sustainable development and to address water challenges on a global scale. The purpose of this study is to investigate cutting-edge technologies that are essential to the process of revolutionising the management of water resources. This study examines cutting-edge solutions to improve water resources’ efficiency, conservation, and equitable distribution. The efficiency of different technologies for water management is solar-powered water pumping systems (15–30%), desalination plants (40–50%) (reverse osmosis), rainwater harvesting systems (50–90%), wastewater treatment plants (80–99%), and drip irrigation systems (90–95%). These solutions range from data-driven analytics to advanced sensor technologies. To contribute to the ongoing conversation about sustainable water management practices in light of the growing water scarcity and environmental concerns, this research endeavours to conduct a comprehensive review of contemporary approaches.
