Kinematics After TKA: Kinematics and Postoperative Results

  • Kenichi Kono

摘要

To obtain high-precision alignment, the application of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) using computer navigation and intraoperative kinematic evaluation is gradually increasing in Japan. In addition, postoperative kinematics have been analyzed using a variety of devices, such as plain radiography, CT, MRI, body surface markers, and fluoroscopy. Kinematics are evaluated using six dimensions of freedom [rotation (internal and external rotation, varus and valgus, flexion and extension) + movement (anteroposterior, medial, lateral, superior, and inferior)].
