Effects of Alignment on Kinematics
摘要
Coronal alignment is an important indicator of the even distribution of stress on the medial and lateral compartments of the knee joint. When the lower limb is varus-aligned, the stress is concentrated in the medial compartment, whereas when the lower limb is valgus-aligned, the stress is concentrated in the lateral compartment. This may also be related to the lift-off of the components.
