Kinematics After TKA -BCR

BCR-TKA is an operation that aims to acquire stability and kinematics close to a healthy knee by preserving both cruciate ligaments in addition to the MCL and LCL. In this section, summarizes the kinematics studies focusing on the following two BCR implants which have been used in recent years (Fig. 23.1): Vanguard XP (Zimmer-Biomet) with relatively flat inserts and medial and lateral symmetrical designs and Journey II XR (Smith & Nephew), which employs anatomical inserts and asymmetrical designs.
