Laxity in Normal and Osteoarthritic Knees

  • Umito Kuwashima

摘要

Laxity of the knee joint can be broadly divided into three forms: anteroposterior, internal valgus, and rotation. Compared to normal knees, OA and RA knees both show changes in laxity, which varies with age and sex. In general, laxity of the knee joint increases with age in normal knees, and joint laxity tends to be greater in women than in men.
