This research proposes that artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have been employed extensively in many areas of finance recently, owing to their rapid development. This has had a substantial impact on the financial market, financial institutions, and regulations. Artificial intelligence technology is a game changer for the financial industry as a whole. It enables the development of innovative financial services such as intelligent lending, intelligent counseling, intelligent monitoring and warning, and intelligent client help when needed. This paper provides an overview of the development and application of AI and machine learning in the financial industry, as well as the implications for macro and microeconomics.
