Effect of Second-Order Spatial Chirp in Ring Airy Vortex Beam on the Scintillation Index Evolution in Turbulent Atmosphere
摘要
In the present work, we numerically investigate the aperture averaged scintillation index (SI) evolution of chirped ring airy vortex beam with second order spatial chirp in strong as well as weak turbulence. Effects of truncation factor and input chirped parameter have also been studied. We find that for the beam with l = 1, the aperture averaged SI decreases with smaller values of the negative chirp parameter. In weak turbulence, the aperture averaged SI increases with propagation distance, while in strong turbulence, SI saturates after initial increase.
