Overview of the Total System of Business Management in Postwar Japan and Germany

Following discussions in Chap. 1 , this chapter examines the total system of business management in postwar Japan and Germany as the structural framework defining a country’s management style applying the author’s original framework. It considers various aspects and situations, wherein we analyze overall business management. The total system of business management is an analytical method for explaining the overall relationships and structure of business management. Of two parts that comprised the concept of the total system of business management, that is, the external and internal factors in business management, eight factors regarding the former in Japan and Germany are clarified.
