Epilogue: Unsolved Settler Colonialism and Devastation of Global Norm

The inability to solve the Gaza war highlights that the root cause of October 7 2023 resides in an over-complicated, multi-layered problem that has been left unsolved in international politics for over a century. It reveals the widening contrast between the accumulated frustration of the Global South and the lack of awareness and indifference of the Global North in the South. This has encouraged increasing criticism by the former of the latter's double standards, as well as distrust of an international order based on Western-led global norms.
