Bangladesh-China Connectivity Through the Practice of Acupuncture in Bangladesh for Holistic Healing

Acupuncture, as a vital part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), has been practiced for the treatment of various diseases. Despite the cultural differences between Bangladesh and China, acupuncture is being used as one of the methods for the treatment of neurological problems in Bangladesh. The main focus of this paper is to examine to what extent acupuncture therapy is being used for holistic healing from a cross-cultural perspective thus strengthening the connectivity between Bangladesh and China. This paper is based on secondary data through reviewing the relevant literature, news reports, and online content analysis. The paper concludes that acupuncture therapy is being used from a cross-cultural perspective between the two nations keeping in view for treatment of different diseases for holistic healing and thus strengthening the connectivity between Bangladesh and China.
