摘要

Fog-assisted Cyber-Physical Systems (Fog-CPSs) provide a way to new safety concerns as a result of the increased vulnerability of fog nodes when compared with traditional cloud servers. The implementation of data integrity checking is of the greatest significance in preventing the potential threats associated with data corruption that may occur during the process of data collection from a storage server. The limitations associated with identity-based cryptography (IBC) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-based data integrity checking protocols can be effectively addressed through the utilization of certificateless cryptography (CLPKC)-based data integrity checking schemes. Most of the data integrity checking schemes based on the literature in the field of cloud-based public key cryptography involve the use of a third-party auditor (TPA). This study introduces a novel system model wherein the auditor and auditee are entities located within a fog infrastructure; additionally, a CLPKC data integrity checking scheme in Fog-CPS architecture with the audit verifier is administered by the cloud server. The preliminary assessment of the suggested protocol security focuses on the verification of metadata unforgeability and the integrity of data proofs. Meanwhile, the initial assessment of the protocol performance aims to determine its efficiency.
