Audio Encryption Scheme Applying a 2D Cosine Sine Logistic Map

摘要

This study presents an audio encryption strategy employing a chaotic system to confuse and diffuse the audio signal. The initial parameters of the chaotic system are established by utilizing the hash value of the signal, introducing unpredictability into the trajectory of chaos. This paper suggests a 2D Cosine Sine Logistic Map (2DCSLM) designed from the Logistic map. The 2DCSLM generates two streams, one of which is used to scramble the original audio. The scrambled audio is subjected to bit-level permutation depending on the second stream. Finally, the permuted audio is encrypted by XOR-ing with the generated streams. The simulation and comparison results indicate that the proposed approach may provide effective encryption while preventing cryptographic attacks.
