Light and Electron Microscope

This chapter explains light and electron microscopes, and under these two headings, their different components, functions, limitations, and technical approaches are also described. The standard protocol of biological sample preparation method for light and electron microscopy is also included to provide a general idea of specimen block preparation, which will facilitate the further processing of microtomy sectioning for light microscopy and UT sectioning with ultramicrotome for TEM study.
