Storage Management Algorithm of a PV System
摘要
This paper discusses a hybrid renewable energy system’s modelling, simulation, and energy management. It consists of a photovoltaic (PV) array that serves as the main energy source and an energy storage device that combines batteries and a super-capacitor to generate hybrid storage sources. This research contains, On the one hand, the regulation of this converter incorporates an MPPT (Maximum electricity Point Tracking) algorithm that enables the solar panels to run at their ideal nominal voltage and produce the most electricity. Nevertheless, focuses on the energy management strategy so that various operating modes are offered to regulate the power flows between the various sources, based on the load’s power requirements, the available PV power, the batteries’ and super capacitors’ state of charge (SOC).
