Performance Evaluation of an LDPC Bit Flipping Decoder in the Presence of a Multipath Channel Equalizer
摘要
Digital communications are based on a transmitter, channel and receiver. The channel undergoes physical disturbances which disturb the transmitted message by inducing errors. To protect against these errors, an error-correcting code is used. Among these codes there are LDPC block codes. The receiver then makes it possible to recover the useful information thanks to a decoding algorithm. Among these algorithms, there is the Bit-Flipping (BF) algorithm. We present in this article a combination between a linear equalizer and the BF algorithm which makes it possible to make the decoding optimal in the presence of a multipath and strongly disturbed channel.
