摘要

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers are exposed to high-power interference caused by Aeronautical Radio Navigation Systems (ARNS) such as Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) and Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN). As a result, Interference mitigation becomes an increasingly important part of GNSS receivers. The presented paper will assess the capability of a frequency-domain approach to mitigate the DME/TACAN interference effect on the GNSS receivers. For interference components characterization, the method exploits the known fixed bandwidth spectrum of the DME/TACAN that overlaps new GNSS signals. Next, the approach will then go on to mitigate the interference signals, the discrete Fourier series (DFS) technique is performed to determine the corresponding contributing harmonics of DMA/TACAN interferences followed by the subtraction of the contributing approximated version from the original corrupted signal. The results provided from the simulation show t superior performance of the proposed structure in terms of signal quality restoration and acquisition parameters.
